Still enjoying my visit to Texas, this one will last me awhile ! One of the things that made me smile was :<br />

Yup! A big pink "privy". What a great idea, and of course, it was in Luck. Those Luck folks thought of almost everything!<br />
So, you know I DID go to Round Top. Went through Marburger and Warrenton too. Honestly, if you are looking for it you would most likely find it somewhere on that stretch of road. There are permanent buildings open on most every week end. When I went, there were a lot of tents already set up and stocked. My interest was to stop at the Junk Gypsy<br />
Store.<br />

It was also very disappointing. I wasn't the only one who felt that way, there were other folks walking out and grumbling. <br />
The store is pretty small and it is filled with manufactured goods. T-Shirts, Boots, jewelry, candles...all Junk Gypsy manufactured and all with "We are TV stars" prices. T-shirts (and we are not talking great quality either) were $35.00. You really had to want to advertise for the Junk Gypsys to shell out that much.<br />
Now, in all honesty, I don't like to pay to advertise for anyone. Also, they ARE T.V. "stars" so I guess it goes with the territory. Just be forewarned, if you go expecting to see original/new/creative things you will be disappointed. I took pictures of the only sorta original items. Glad I made the stop though, because now I know.<br />
All in all, a great trip and all the bluebonnets, Indian blankets, Indian paintbrush etc. made it a beautiful drive.<br />

You will need scissors, ice pick (or something to poke holes with) jewelry and tape and/or labels. Cut the smaller plates into a flower shape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_6dN14D49pc4hN8P_cwqxB31EvxUwvdXdPE09LuqgwQka8IWJiz1kGAM0sn3z4SrikLpupSMEt5_Hpbg-egXwhVmLSr8OM5KLxQXVa9AQlqKjXQULht1yKCNQ5-0UYJadC4swKauHEFG0/s1600/JewelrySuppliesC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="223" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_6dN14D49pc4hN8P_cwqxB31EvxUwvdXdPE09LuqgwQka8IWJiz1kGAM0sn3z4SrikLpupSMEt5_Hpbg-egXwhVmLSr8OM5KLxQXVa9AQlqKjXQULht1yKCNQ5-0UYJadC4swKauHEFG0/s320/JewelrySuppliesC.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
You will use two spoon straws and one long flexible straw for the stem. Cut the flex straw just below the flex and insert the long piece into the spoon straws as shown above. I use a small price tag to wrap around the spoon part to help hold them together. <br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRTf9FJr3e57P20lx5Ik0iFqW63jxvBi7kAP3nWwzfz6ZdK2uHqQQO1XOc_bkpPxvYlK1W4MwArM-lAksLoh3_uFnjXMrFEtH4DtVn3wpxgnvgCQNntfXHAaBmiqrRKwN432_H8kw_rcdT/s1600/JewelrySuppliesD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="235" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRTf9FJr3e57P20lx5Ik0iFqW63jxvBi7kAP3nWwzfz6ZdK2uHqQQO1XOc_bkpPxvYlK1W4MwArM-lAksLoh3_uFnjXMrFEtH4DtVn3wpxgnvgCQNntfXHAaBmiqrRKwN432_H8kw_rcdT/s320/JewelrySuppliesD.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Lay your pin on top of the plate to determine where you need to place your holes. Then stick the pin into just one side. Use the ice pick to enlarge the first hole and make the other. Don't put them too far apart, about an inch, so you can slide the pin back through and close. Turn plate over and slide a straw up underneath the pin. The spoon straw makes this really easy. Fold over the spoon part and tape. I also use a label over the tape. You can put information about the pin as well as the price.<br />
For bracelets or necklaces, make your holes much further apart, then clasp them in the back. For long necklaces, use a small envelope to hold most of the chain or tape it to the back.<br />

You can use markers to color the foam butterflies and bees or cover with tissue paper or simply cut out your own. I slit the top wings and put a pair of clip earrings on this one. I would add more color but left it fairly plain for clarity.<br />

Place your jewel flowers into an urn or vase. Add butterfly, bees. Use or add several smaller pots to spread around, or lay on table. Since this is so inexpensive you can just wrap in tissue and let your customer have the jewel flower, bee or butterfly.<br />
The coasters are easy to put a pin through and add another shape and different texture. My Dollar Tree had blue and green ones, pink would be wonderful to find.<br />
Yes, I forgot to add the butterfly and bee to my arrangement, sigh. But it's already at my booth. Please use your imagination to see them there! (()) <br />
This makes a bright, happy, fun display. I'm happy for you to pin or share, but would appreciate a link back.<br />
Thank you for your visit, I appreciate your comments and follows and always try to return them.<br />
Until next time, ya'll bee sweet!<br />

Happy Cinco de Mayo !<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Happy Cinco de Mayo ! It's also my husbands birthday so we really celebrate. We will be out and about today and also heading up to the mountains on Saturday for a few days of fun.<br />
Here are my "finds":<br />
Wonderful old paint by number and a HUGE chandelier! Could not pass up the chandelier. It was priced at $15.50, the glass is beveled, and I could see a lot of projects to be made from it. <br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">HUGE light fixture. </td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr>

Found a square lazy susan. It was perfect to mosaic, since I decided to use it on top of a plant stand, I didn't put a lot of work into the mosaic. Just used a sheet from Lowe's that was on sale for a dollar. First I put it on this stand: <br />

Plan B, put on a rectangular top that started life out as a plaque. Looks much better, BUT.... I really wanted to have a plant stand with a rotating top. Love the idea of being able to turn a plant to get the sun evenly without having to lift it. Put the lazy susan on top of this stand:<br />

Missed last week. Busy having fun and, well, just busy. Ya'll know how that is. This week I'm sharing:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnGMzJGTGirHtVcrIkjA1ccViKek1HX5zlY7yy7xbFDwTSlWXZ3ghs_DbyyBlinE3A10-oEdUiD2vnKOwhRCfpeWfY6nkEw1i41xBM2nSAgmIjhHtPmswdwp7jvh7V30UKAL4OmAmV3Q7D/s1600/Frogs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnGMzJGTGirHtVcrIkjA1ccViKek1HX5zlY7yy7xbFDwTSlWXZ3ghs_DbyyBlinE3A10-oEdUiD2vnKOwhRCfpeWfY6nkEw1i41xBM2nSAgmIjhHtPmswdwp7jvh7V30UKAL4OmAmV3Q7D/s1600/Frogs.jpg" height="253" width="320" /></a></div>
Cutest frogs ever! Looked so sweet in the Garden Room. I say "looked" because they sold right after I put them out. Beautiful vintage pink and white paint by number roses. Very shabby and romantic.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrSDwleYPpVEgMCnLiuvszT40-siuIzRSQigY7hPOU9hjXgrAhdJAfbF20NXeLWU64CBl20pwkGArd0QCAdWY0AN700CajrA4zZDgHJKX-OuDrJwqLIwpBd98rc8uQcMDJNPbIYbrwqX8_/s1600/FindPaintbyNumberRoses.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrSDwleYPpVEgMCnLiuvszT40-siuIzRSQigY7hPOU9hjXgrAhdJAfbF20NXeLWU64CBl20pwkGArd0QCAdWY0AN700CajrA4zZDgHJKX-OuDrJwqLIwpBd98rc8uQcMDJNPbIYbrwqX8_/s1600/FindPaintbyNumberRoses.jpg" height="244" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For my "make", was asked if I could make a trellis for the Garden Room. Well, of course I could. Started with a pre-made bottom, then added to it. Used a finial from the end of a curtain rod, a shelf bracket, and lattice that you can buy for .99 at Home Depot . They cut it in half for me for easier handling.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Finished trellis in place. You can barely see the fairy wind chime hanging in the middle. My lousy picture taking. I really need to do better, I know.<br />
The first "make" of anything is usually the most difficult and not the best. Putting this one together gave me some ideas on how to make the next one, or two. Stay tuned !<br />

Ohhhh my, my,my. Tiaras ! Place on one your head and you feel like a princess. If you watch the Big Bang Theory, remember the episode where Amy gets a tiara for her birthday? One of my favorites. So, here are 3 I found in my travels:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5KmHmy0cujnvlA5WLebLq-bhmI6uOBIrxmShWekYyvQAMfe2Mr1qbqZ3awWnXM5lEUQgzDV87NZ_Z3PZLBpJXsnNwqwj43O6a9WLNlIvIQAoYhlU2BCdChdKsQ0e4LkYJDr00Nvzo2Y6n/s1600/WeeklyFindTiaras.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5KmHmy0cujnvlA5WLebLq-bhmI6uOBIrxmShWekYyvQAMfe2Mr1qbqZ3awWnXM5lEUQgzDV87NZ_Z3PZLBpJXsnNwqwj43O6a9WLNlIvIQAoYhlU2BCdChdKsQ0e4LkYJDr00Nvzo2Y6n/s1600/WeeklyFindTiaras.jpg" height="281" width="320" /></a></div>
Yes, I tried each one. Might have to keep them too. Make me feel like a princess, just sayin'.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrK-imzy1bn4n-HzRhRqbg2gmW-x9YtcepuzQSEQVwCMX1qZPHEzrwXC4fGmGbixbmNoEqLLp_gghim4oBrQRtT1az-0lbP64xxR3asYkDu96f3_7rFpkwAGqWhOp_U-XsgoTujQWtGotN/s1600/WeeklyFindCakeStands.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrK-imzy1bn4n-HzRhRqbg2gmW-x9YtcepuzQSEQVwCMX1qZPHEzrwXC4fGmGbixbmNoEqLLp_gghim4oBrQRtT1az-0lbP64xxR3asYkDu96f3_7rFpkwAGqWhOp_U-XsgoTujQWtGotN/s1600/WeeklyFindCakeStands.jpg" height="320" width="301" /></a></div>
Wooden cake stands, I grab them when I see them. Then I paint them. These are in various stages. After they are painted<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I put a depression glass cake plate on top, tie with a ribbon and off they go to my booth. They are good sellers.<br />
The next "find" came from a sweet friend who will bring me things she finds that she knows I will like. If I'm not home she will leave them on the porch. I love coming home and finding a gift ! Here is the sweet lamp base she left:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw-OHzN3A4hRBegOGu9y2Lwd3M_v6k1rF0TIXehymp5aqN8BMeG9mHEzmGBciZc08RoimcGgjMe-W3uithOf-Jq7_8K7ItpqSTLcs50mPou7o41PCHK5iDzgPBcXzrouJJlvwh9FiYT_E0/s1600/WeeklyFindLampBase.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw-OHzN3A4hRBegOGu9y2Lwd3M_v6k1rF0TIXehymp5aqN8BMeG9mHEzmGBciZc08RoimcGgjMe-W3uithOf-Jq7_8K7ItpqSTLcs50mPou7o41PCHK5iDzgPBcXzrouJJlvwh9FiYT_E0/s1600/WeeklyFindLampBase.jpg" height="320" width="150" /></a></div>
In my stash I had this cream lampshade. I thought if I added some cream and white flowers it would work. After I added the flowers I added smaller ones with a crystal inside the roses and then added a crystal to the accent flowers. Does it work for you ? <br />

We had 2 beautiful riding days and took advantage of them! My Sweetie is off the whole week so I'm not getting much done. One reason I post to the Blog is to keep me on track.<br />
This week I'm sharing two beautiful Scott McClintock lace dresses, made in the USA. Those were the days my friends !<br />
Both dresses have beautiful pink blush satin under dresses. <br />

For my "make", really a make over...I found this petite chair. A bit smaller than a dining room chair. I'm thinking it was for a desk, a vanity or a card table, but mostly I thought it was a sweet size. That is Willie checking out the chair. Yup, he's a big boy.<br />

Ohhh how I love this little peignoir, made in USA ... and it still has a tag on it. The tag reads: Gossard Artemus Peignoir set, $38.00. Now I just have the top, but that's okay ! Unfortunately the color just doesn't show in the photos, it really is a lovely eggshell. <br />

Then I found a bridal veil to add to my collection. This one is newer but it's so pretty...it has pearls scattered on the veil. You can't see them because they aren't on the veil that goes over the face but on the longer part I couldn't get a shot of :))<br />

Every once in awhile I'll find something romantic and shabby with roses on it. Usually it's a candle holder but this time a wonderful wine basket.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-61nT7CK0-JkYh240ob7tmhmKVaGSsTGqFS6lohcDz6wyJu6qlrUQAulpVAG6Nb9a7zOTUoUPA7Npatm5MhYzElKG0OU8TVxEPHbSMrbMFLugKX7pnoVwCDpSfWKXmTQAVZtYOJnYJIHu/s1600/WineBasket.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-61nT7CK0-JkYh240ob7tmhmKVaGSsTGqFS6lohcDz6wyJu6qlrUQAulpVAG6Nb9a7zOTUoUPA7Npatm5MhYzElKG0OU8TVxEPHbSMrbMFLugKX7pnoVwCDpSfWKXmTQAVZtYOJnYJIHu/s1600/WineBasket.jpg" height="320" width="169" /></a></div>
Now for a weekly "do" ... I found a large plaster artichoke and painted it. Yes, I could have spray painted it gold or silver but, sigh, it's just not in me to do that. I had to paint it.<br />
After I did a layer of green, added some red, I lightly distressed it with gold.<br />

Three hats, two hat boxes. The first and third hats were in the same box. There was one loose price tag in the box $65. Both tags were Jacobson tags.<br />
The middle hat looks peach but it is really pink. LOVE that pink! It's been gloomy days here and no good light for photos.<br />
Oh don't I LOVE these hats ! Perfect for weddings, garden parties, church. Vintage and beautiful ! So tempted to keep them and add to my hat collection.<br />

Soooo, while there are plastic letters and numbers for pegboard, I wanted wood. Here was my solution:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbZcyW4xMQ6DYQSW2tDOh56zsmfJVQ_O4PgFushwzTDW9-RP1CdB5W5UPMfg2bw7qPDa44nILbvS7dbcgqiCtxxEVj93f5Nq5gydRVYjdJMGIMKu1Q1_7eNfHK1EyTLg3nCfz0OSmGXjYo/s1600/PEGsignA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbZcyW4xMQ6DYQSW2tDOh56zsmfJVQ_O4PgFushwzTDW9-RP1CdB5W5UPMfg2bw7qPDa44nILbvS7dbcgqiCtxxEVj93f5Nq5gydRVYjdJMGIMKu1Q1_7eNfHK1EyTLg3nCfz0OSmGXjYo/s1600/PEGsignA.jpg" height="320" width="293" /></a></div>
It helps to have some pegboard handy that you can use as a guide. You can find wood letters, 3 in a pack, for .99. I found mine at Hobby Lobby.<br />
Gather letters, dowel the size of pegboard holes (1/4" is standard), paint, glue, glitter(unless you don't WANT glitter but I can't imagine you don't want glitter !), card stock, pen or pencil, paper punch. You will need something to cut the dowel with too.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsHPhkABn7T_DmJCYou-k1NdHGgFTUpzSY8AcsKdwOEZp1zZFMt6I-fmuvfX1Ye-DWTzSPwCfqMwA6Ku7dNHOVyZzzFLrnVop7gVBDSu9vhQxVmmyiwRm3H3h2ILiSqfpLUW9xBvuw6n-L/s1600/PEGC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsHPhkABn7T_DmJCYou-k1NdHGgFTUpzSY8AcsKdwOEZp1zZFMt6I-fmuvfX1Ye-DWTzSPwCfqMwA6Ku7dNHOVyZzzFLrnVop7gVBDSu9vhQxVmmyiwRm3H3h2ILiSqfpLUW9xBvuw6n-L/s1600/PEGC.jpg" height="184" width="320" /></a></div>
Take some card stock. Mark it by holding it up to the back of the pegboard and draw circles where the pegboard holes are. Then paper punch out the holes. I taped two pieces<br />
of card stock together with painters tape. Next, line up your letters, face down and backwards, tops aligned to the top of the card stock. Draw the holes on the back of your letters where you think they will work best in the peg board. This is where you will glue your dowel pegs.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin6wQPrC3szKqtn6WuRRnlER3vYAMJJrusHAAcqIbZJyfixXRp1rE2MkHTyKmhVWs0PLCXdsHe3iPW1mX5FE3fVjjbztT8qmQPOKahJc4R48c5aevw06BV9IhsxyJHGSfkqlet1Me0oNOU/s1600/PEGBa.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin6wQPrC3szKqtn6WuRRnlER3vYAMJJrusHAAcqIbZJyfixXRp1rE2MkHTyKmhVWs0PLCXdsHe3iPW1mX5FE3fVjjbztT8qmQPOKahJc4R48c5aevw06BV9IhsxyJHGSfkqlet1Me0oNOU/s1600/PEGBa.jpg" height="253" width="320" /></a></div>
This is what I used to cut the dowel into 1" pieces. I loooove this little chop saw. It's a 2" chop saw perfect for the smaller things you need/want to cut. Got this at Harbor Freight and it was around $26.00. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKWSAoazgeKntlbVoXxUxI7FPkrN2_x_2EOotRpCAd36ad6FT1ZpO6L3lZuIW-AnHlhs173D4Qh-rkFOrNDqLo3nMTaIEyrKR6RhLC-4WW278JpkVEe1xd3dGN_suE5KRlLG01ZeJ8zXn4/s1600/PEGD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKWSAoazgeKntlbVoXxUxI7FPkrN2_x_2EOotRpCAd36ad6FT1ZpO6L3lZuIW-AnHlhs173D4Qh-rkFOrNDqLo3nMTaIEyrKR6RhLC-4WW278JpkVEe1xd3dGN_suE5KRlLG01ZeJ8zXn4/s1600/PEGD.jpg" height="190" width="320" /></a></div>
The next thing I did was to paint the front of the letters. But you can do this after you attach the dowel. I used a glue pot to attach the dowel, but any good glue can be used.<br />
After gluing the dowels, I painted the back of the letters. Then applied glue to the fronts of the letters and pressed them into the glitter.<br />

VIE OH LAH !!!! Letters/signs easily made for pegboard. You can put them in straight or give them a little twist. You can buy letters for specific signs or you can buy several alphabets and make lotsa different signs. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Trying to get back into the swing, it seems to be taking me a bit longer than usual.<br />
Had some pegboard added to the top back wall of the booth a while back. Since I hang a lot of pictures and needle work I thought this would be easier and cleaner. I love it! <br />

Just love the Fire King mid century dishes. My friend Christy has bought a new "vintage" trailer with the aqua/turquoise interior and I'm giving her this set. There are six cups/saucers and plates. I think she'll love it too.<br />

Now I have a section in my booth for "Sew Vintage" and always look out for buttons, sewing items etc. I really like finding carded buttons on cards that are in good condition.<br />
Some of the old graphics are wonderful.<br />

We had a wonderful summer, lots of back road riding and adventures Then the College Men went back to class and my booth at Townsquare Gifts and Antiques needed lots of love. I just do not know how all this time flew by. <br />
Wishing everyone all the blessings and promises of the Christ Child and a very happy happy happy !!!<br />

On my "to do" list was painting one of my dress forms to use as a flower pin/jewelry display. I have three forms and they are counter height covered with a cream fabric. The pins are made from vintage millinary flowers, vintage lace/fabric and vintage buttons/jewelry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I wanted to paint the form and then add a crinoline for the pins and use the top for jewelry.<br />
I had seen some fabric spray paint and thought it would be a quick and easy way to get 'er done. I had a vision of a nice black top as a base. Well, sigh, we all know that usually isn't what happens. The paint would sputter and spit out big drops on the first spray. I did several light coats as directed and it turned out a dirty gray. Wouldn't have minded the gray if it had been a pretty gray... but this had splotches and patches. Not purty and definitely not what I had envisioned.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkhXTsyWSKzp-7fhg0Fua6mkrV8PyVahSchRMzgH6lC2ANu3JbHZvs6QgvnNMEKggYDGRNZviZyw_4jkcVb3soMma9jy-jO8bM_46zxf_cvnTgGGKk0zDUSEg-1_Egl13K33ReBzH4WqxP/s1600/PostPinFormOne.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkhXTsyWSKzp-7fhg0Fua6mkrV8PyVahSchRMzgH6lC2ANu3JbHZvs6QgvnNMEKggYDGRNZviZyw_4jkcVb3soMma9jy-jO8bM_46zxf_cvnTgGGKk0zDUSEg-1_Egl13K33ReBzH4WqxP/s1600/PostPinFormOne.jpg" height="320" width="236" /></a></div>
After getting the first few coats on and not having much left in the bottle I decided I had nuthin' to lose so got out my bottle of black glitter paint. Oh YES ! It worked beautifully.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I'm tellin' ya, this DecorArt Twinkles is the best thing since cheese and grits. You can click on the photo for a good close up.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWiF7IWsJcl8ReqR864pe_LlRZ0kFWbx_oahrNCv8qpnITAnF9r6jFeDpDgwzyOjTeNhgRn01sm8QO7yPWWKK1_bRKd6kTcEN-YVQi_t7uet5EL54tMEw3mKoJl658L-H3BH2LsyA_yLZ2/s1600/PostPinsFormTwo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWiF7IWsJcl8ReqR864pe_LlRZ0kFWbx_oahrNCv8qpnITAnF9r6jFeDpDgwzyOjTeNhgRn01sm8QO7yPWWKK1_bRKd6kTcEN-YVQi_t7uet5EL54tMEw3mKoJl658L-H3BH2LsyA_yLZ2/s1600/PostPinsFormTwo.jpg" height="320" width="202" /></a></div>
Now I had the black glitter top I had envisioned. It was a very rushed day for me so I had to take the last photo at my booth and people were shopping it while I was trying to add items. That isn't a complaint ! :))<br />

Pink Saturday is always a happy day ! Lots of lovely pinks to see at <a href="http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/">Beverlys' </a><br />
This is a bright pink perfume bottle from Hobby Lobby that was $2.00. I couldn't leave it there :)) <br />

Have had several train cases in waiting and finally started working on one. The sparkly accents aren't showing, I really need to set up a space just to take photos.<br />

I've always loved the angels made out of found items and realized I had enough to make one. Started with a bedpost, added window frame(s) for wings, very old porch spindles for the arms, old wooden finials for the top and neck, light globe for the head. The vintage clock was perfect for a halo (not salvageable). What you can't see are the many little stars all over her, I painted them the same color as the body part.<br />
My BFF from waaaaaay up North said she looked like Lady Liberty so...here she is my Liberty Angel dedicated to the men and women who serve in our armed forces.<br />

With her halo she is over 5' tall. Added a round bottom :)) with some wheels and decked her out before loading her into the truck to take to my booth in Douglas, GA.<br />

The very creative and inspiring Amy Powers of Inspire Co. hosted another Club Little House. In this swap you make 12 dollhouse size miniatures and get 12 in return. It is just amazing the fabulous things that are created !<br />
For my 12 I painted storage chests and inside I put a hat box with a glitter bridal veil.<br />
