Truth in Lending....or I really DO believe in Honesty
I am fairly certain that what I call my "creamware" isn't made from white Cornish clay because it was all made in Trenton, New Jersey in the 50's and 60's...but I think a lot of us call anything that is all cream or off white "creamware" and that's okay with me. It's still very pretty and can make quite a statement against a beautiful color.
My children's great-aunt worked in a porcelain factory for fifty years and these are some of the things they made. I treasure them not only for their beauty but because they were touched by her precious, loving hands. This woman had no children of her own but treated all children as her own. She taught me about compassion, honor and unconditional love. She taught me that women could take care of themselves and not to be afraid of hard work or hard times. She taught me to believe in myself, to dream and to work towards those dreams and most importantly to never, ever give up. In more ways than one I owe my life to this woman. She has gone on to what I believe is a glorious, well deserved reward.
Thank-you Lord for putting Aunt Jo in my life.
My wish for you: May you have an inspiration in your life that will encourage you and believe in you like my Aunt Jo did for me.
