Spring Sweet Spring !

 One of the many things I love about spring is the profusion of Wisteria.  There is something so romantic and beautiful about the delicate hanging blossoms. Some people consider it an invasive pest but I love it and I love that I can look out my French doors and see it bloom.
Spring always gives me wander lust .. I think there is some Gypsy in my blood because spring hits and I can not sit still. Have to put on my travelin' shoes...or Charlie One Horse demi boots in this case...and hit the road.   I just got back from a week in Nashville, you can read about it in posts below if you would like.

Happy Pink Saturday Francie and Happy Easter. I am lovin' those boots! I love wisteria. It is all over the place up here hanging in trees all over the highways. I have heard it's invasive too but I love it. My sister is sending me some so we can plant it in the trees by the east side of the lake. :)

Wisteria is beautiful, but I gotta tell you - I love those shoes! Pink and brown rock together and they are stylin'!

I love Wisteria, too and could never think of it as a pest. I know it's roots really travel and it comes up in the darndest places, but that is OK with me!
We have a small tree, but it has not bloomed yet. Maybe this year?

Francie -- Wisteria hung all around me underneath the bough of the oak tree for long ago my parents while courting mingled the vine with the oak and a half century later they are one -- interweave together as they, so I sit there with my dancin' shoes on, country born and bred, takes me back to simpler times and of course in Nashville ya gotta sing -- a story behind every song. One of the most difficult things I had to do (on our last move) was to leave my 4 wisteria trees. I had planted them as "babies" & they grew into glorious scented pleasures! I hope to have these wonderful plants back in my life someday. Wonderful post.

I love wisteria. It's so so pretty! Spring makes me want to get out and garden. I could spend all day out there. It's just gets too hot too fast!
