Time for Pink ... and a little bit of France.

Soooo it is taking me a little bit longer to do things, okay, a LOT longer my one speed used to be Granny  now it's reverse!   But still we are inching along...

Sharing some fabric with you .... oh I LOVE fabric !
Yes, it's true I still can not get to my sewing machine but thankfully this project only requires glue. I'll be using these fabrics on a suitcase.
Then I'll be making a few things with Eiffel towers and swans and a few other goodies tooo.

I really really love this fabric, it's soooo romantic. Pink roses and French postcards, sigh.   One of my favorite movies is French Kiss.  I watch it every time it comes on the telly and my children bought me my very own copy.

Pink toile ... how can you not like this charming fabric? Wonderful countryside scenes, charming cottages...

The iconic Eiffel Tower ... oh did you see the photo taken of the Eiffel with lightening behind it?   It was on YahBoo and just stunning !
These beautiful swans will be part of an ornament swap I'm doing that revolves around fairy tales...remember The Ugly Duckling?

Ooooh so I have a ton to do and it's taking me oh so long to do anything   But I have gotten VERY good at getting my family to fetch and tote for me :))

Thank you all for your sweet comments and thank you Carol, Ms. Polkadot Closet  for thinking of me in your blog post !   Ya'll should go by and see her she has the BEST tips ... don't miss out on Pink Saturday at  Beverly's either, kay?     Ya'll bee sweet and come back soon.  (())

I love fabric also. When I'm in a shop surrounded by bolts and bolts of colors and textures I could stay for hours.
Oh, such lovely pinks! I LOVE the Eiffel Tower and toile so your post is very appealing to me. Thanks for your visit and Happy Pink weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi
I am glad you are feeling better...going in reverse is better than not going at all! right?

I love fabric, too, and have scads of it. I have not seen the fabric with the postcards and roses...how romantic is that??? I am going to look for a bit for myself and my stash!

Keep feeling better!

So sorry to hear about the food poisoning and pinched nerve! I hope you're feeling much better now. I love fabric, too! However, I don't sew...so I never know what to do with all that lovely fabric! Looks like I can get some ideas from you! Your blog looks so interesting. I'll be exploring it further!

Hi Francie,

I've been collecting vintage fabric and new fabric for about a dozen years. I've pretty much slowed way down now that I have a 13x15 foot room full. {giggles}

Where did you find that french postcard and roses fabric? It is so pretty.

I want to see how you use it.

Pink Sparkles,
Stephanie Suzanne ♥

Who doesn't love Paris? The Eiffel tower is an iconic symbol even for those of us who live in the French campagne, not in the city.
Love the pretty little swans, so sweet.
Thanks for stopping by in Normandy,
Maggie

Hey nice blog :)
Check out mine if you have the time. Thanks.
How did I miss this post Francie? Do you know I have an Eiffel Tower like yours but glass? Yup, it's from a friend that went to Paris in 1970. She bought it with perfume in it. I took off the top and put a sweet flower in it.
On another note... could you please put aside along with the bee spoons the 5 remaining Eiffel tower charms for me? I will pay you in Asheville.
Thanks so much Francie
Love Claudie

So glad to hear you are doing better!! It sure is a blessing when strength and health come after down days.

That fabric is so neat!! You mentioning the movie French Kiss make me think that I don't think I have watched it so am going over to Netflix now!

You are so good about those swaps!! I do hope I get some time in when cold man winter comes upon us and I am spending more time in the house to maybe participate in a few.

bee blessed
