Losing speed !

 Used to be I had two speeds, slooooow and granny.  Now it seems I only have granny, slooooow would be my new fast.  That is why I'm showing works in progress instead of in done. :)

some time ago I found three of these bird houses on clearance.  I finally started on them because I want to use them in a Valentine's display.
Maybe with a little boost they will be finished by Sunday.
Using very small ceramic tiles on this one, you can't really see but I have some pink heart tiles for the sides.  Trying to decide if I want to use porcelain flowers or just more tiles....
This is my new favorite red !   I had some tiny bricks from a dollhouse project so decided to use them.

I love how they are progressing. They will be perfect in a Valentine display. I know what you mean about slowing down. How did I ever work and do all the things I did. Now I'm retired and I can't figure how the day passes so quickly.

I hear you about sloooowww, I think the winter weather has a lot to do with that. Round about now, we need a shot of Spring. I am inspired by your bird houses. I have a bag of them I've accumulated over the years waiting for something to nudge me to action. I really like the way you used tiles...I will now go in search of cute tiles to incorporate with painting or papering the outsides of the houses.

I know what you mean about heaters having trouble keeping the house warm. Southern homes are not insulated against such crazy cold weather. I love your site and the birdhouses. You are so talented.
