Chicago, Chicago that da da da town....

Chicago was wonderful ! Went for the Country Living event and to see Joyce Lucas of Make Mine Pink get her well deserved applause as one of CL's 2008 entrepreneurs of the year. Was very blessed to stay at the beautiful home of my friend Christine from Extra Sprinkles, along with Cathy of Treasured Heirlooms. Both have beautiful web shops and are beautiful ladies...not to mention a lot of fun!
We also were blessed to be in the company of sweet Georgia of
Grandma G's Cottage.
You can visit their webshops just by clicking on the name.
The first photo is of Georgia and Cathy... Georgia is looking very surprised and Cathy looks like she wants to swat me...it's the only one I have of them together though. Then there is Ms. Personality herself, the very talented Christine.
We met up with a fabulous group of Make Mine Pink ladies after the event and had the best time! You can read a lot about it, and see more photos, at the Make Mine Pink forum.

Just wanted to catch up here and tomorrow I must catch up at the cottage and get some packages out.

Francie,
I had so much fun in Chicago with you and all the Pinkies! It was great to meet you in person. I enjoyed getting to spend time with you and getting to know you better. Keep the pictures coming. It's such fun to see and here each story within a story!

Pink hugs, Karen
Welcome back Francie! I'm glad you had a great time!

Hi Francie, Love that picture of Grandma G. I have so enjoyed seeing all the photos and comments about Chicago over at MMP. I almost feel like I was right there with all of you. I know it must have been an amazing time. And I can't wait to see where the Sept. conference is going to be. Aren't the saucer magnolias beautiful. Ours is more like a tree than a bush. We had to severely prune it last Spring. xo Lynn

I've never been called "Elegant". And she didn't even see me with my tiara!
Now that was elegant.
