The Monday after....the BIG meal....

Hope everyone had a very blessed Thanksgiving. We were very blessed to be able to be with our family and share good food and good times.

Now it's time to get busy again and get ready for the final push towards Christmas ! Soaps are on my agenda for the rest of the week, here are a few of the types I'm making. The oatmeal soap ball is scented with Oatmeal, Milk and Honey. The lavender, of course is scented with French Lavender which has a nice soft floral scent. Then there is the little chick....I'm not sure what to scent him. Any suggestions? Leave a comment with a scent suggestion for the little chick soap and....well you know, Mrs. Glosser, number randomly generated yada yada... AND you could be receiving the teacup candle shown. (I know you were wondering what that teacup was doing at the top of the photos :) )

As for the randomly drawn number for comments on last Fridays post, well Miss Cathy of Cathy's Creations will be getting the itty bitty teacup. You should check out her wonderful personalized ornaments. Just click on the name up there, you will find some things there that will make you smile AND make perfect gifts.

My wish for you: A restful week re-counting your blessings
and lots of yummy left overs so you do not have to cook.

Your soaps are so pretty and the sound like they are going to smell heavenly, just like all of your other lovely treasures. How about a lemon verbena scent for the chickie? You always make S&T so much fun.

I think a fresh linen scent would be good...or something like newly washed laundry...

Love your soaps, how about lemon for the spring chick.

Thank you for sharing
I am having some weird ideas for the chick soap. A sweet yellow custard scent.
Or something that reminds me of sunshine and marigolds!

Hi Francie,
Love your soaps. How about a kid-friendly fragrance? It looks like something kids would love. Marshmallow? Vanilla ice cream?

Hi Francie,

I am so glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I'm loving your new soaps. I think this little chickie needs to be hmmm "lemon" or a pretty "rose/honey" scented.

Have fun deciding.

Hey Francie,
I love your soaps. They are so pretty! I don't know why, but I'm thinking lemon scent for the chick. Maybe it's just "lemon chicken" that I make. hee, hee, hee.

Hi Francie.....your little chicky needs to smell lemony....maybe lemongrass or lemon verbena (someone already suggested that)or how about lemon/honey? You sent me one of your lavender soaps and it is just heavenly!

Oh, yes, you are the most talented when it comes to good scents (and sense)
Hi Miss Francie,
I think your chick ought to smell like banana custard. It reminds me of the sweet little sugar creme chicks we received in our Easter baskets, and they always tasted like sweet bananas. Hope this note finds you well. You are a sweetie.
