Blissful ATC Swap

The theme for this months card was orange, and when I learned that Donna from Brynwood Needleworks http://www.brynwoodneedleworks.blogspot.com was my partner I KNEW I was going to get something exquisite.  If you visit her blog she explains how she created it...I'm just gonna let you take in how beautiful it is.  Can you see the tiny beads she stitched on the left side?  Look at the sweetest teeeny tiniest golden acorn charm !  Donna, I am thrilled and will treasure this treasure !!!   Thank you so much.
I was planning on painting marigolds and Wynona for the orange theme ... both of them sorta orange, but when I saw Donna's beautiful family of puppies  (visit her blog and scroll down the right side to see them) and they had similar coloring to Wynona, I decided to try and paint them for her.    I am having BIG problems with this new blogger photo upload and the new format so I hope you will visit Donna to see the card I made for her.  While I try to paint what is in my head and my heart it doesn't usually come out as well as I'd like it to. Donna has been very gracious to me and I appreciate it very much. (())
Thank you to all of my visitors and especially for leaving your comments, I appreciate you very much too.  Ya'll come back now!

Greetings Francie! I just LOVE the rosette box and rosettes you sent! Thank you for the sachet, it's so pretty. My husband just made a shelf for our bedroom and it will hang from there once I add some ribbon. The rosettes are SO girly and pink! LOVE 'EM! I am going to use one of them w/my vintage lace and make a cuff. With another I am going to make a barrette. Thank you SO very much! xo

You girls both did fabulous jobs on your swaps. I love the painting you did for Donna, what a treasured keepsake you each created.

Just came over from Donna's where I saw your ATC. I do not know how you manage to paint something so small with the detail that you do.
This is not a craft project, it is a real art project. I am sure she loves it and appreciates your subjects.

Wonderful orange themed ATC! Working with orange was so much fun. When I was younger, I didn't like orange, but the older I have become, the more I like it, I actually love orange now!

Hey Francie, thank you for visiting my blog. I am having trouble with links and pictures on this new blogger thingie too. My newsletter provider has options that once I do a newsletter, I can have it automatically posted to lots of places such as FB and my blog plus many others so I did post it to my blog and that was the first time I had done that. I'm glad you were able to figure it out. I am going to check out your painting now. Have a great day!
Francie, thank you for visiting, You are the only one that acknowledged watching "Say yes to the dress" Do you think we are the only 2 that watch it? What a great swap you got, I don't know how you do it all!!! Super women!

I'm just getting around to everyone's blogs to check out the "Orange" ATC's. Lovin' them :)
That really is pretty. Bead work fascinates me.
You're not the only one having problems with Blogger. I've heard others lamenting that they're having a hard time. I had a hard time way long time ago and switched to my own hosted site using downloaded Wordpress. Love it.
