Robin's Egg Blue

Did you get the free sample of paint from Glidden? I did and ordered the Robin's Egg Blue. I had planned on painting the downstairs bathroom (finally !) and decided to put it on the ceiling. What do you think? What did you do with your free sample?
I have to say I do LOVE the paint. It went on like a dream. And a little tip, take a plastic grocery bag, turn it inside out and put it over your paint tray, use a twist tie to tie the handles together under the tray. Pour your paint in and when you are through painting you can turn the bag outside in and throw it away.

My wish for you: Blue skies, always !

Beautiful! I have thought about painting my master bath ceiling blue! I have Sherwin Williams Bamboo with a glaze of Paper Moon drybrushed over it on the walls. I stenciled wisteria around the top of the walls and added a few scattered Wallie hummingbirds. I've always thought a skyblue ceiling with some sponged clouds would be awesome!

Beautiful color! and thanks for that tip, I will be using it.
Such a bright and pretty color. I had three walls done in a similar color in my craft room in my previous house. I did the ceiling and one wall in a tan color. I loved it! Always a cheerful lift.

Ooooh, my favorite shade of blue!! I love that you used it on your ceiling.
Great tip about the bag, I will for sure use that the next time I paint.
I'm so glad you liked the bookplates on my blog, thanks so much for stopping by.

Francie love the blue!! I am so silly I just got an off white as I thought a quart wouldn't be enough for much and look you painted you ceiling!! I am wishing I had gone with a color- still haven't used it for anything. Have several little pieces of furniture I am hoping to redo.

Hope you are doing well friend!

Francie - I have pickled wood ceiling, swirled plaster ceilings and just a few plain old flat ceilings. I refused to have plain white. These ceiling were painted a sky blue. I really like them. Not sure I could go all the way to robin's egg, but love your daring.

Hi Francie,

I love the color you picked. It looks awesome on the ceiling. Wow, it makes the room look so big.

I picked Sweet Pea, but haven't used it yet. I haven't found anything to paint it on. I'll have to post it when I do.
