Making up For Lost Time...

For a while it seemed I couldn't blog even weekly and now I find myself posting almost daily. But I really wanted to show you this paper doll by the very talented Kris Hurst. I wasn't fortunate enough to get one in the swap but I wanted to share with you and give you a link so you can visit the immensely talented, versatile artist. We sat next to each other during the Petticoat & Parasol art event and she blew my old lady support hose off ! I hope she shares her parasol on her blog with you because her creation was fantabulous. Her photo is used with her permission. Not sure I have permission to rave about her but oh well, I got freedom there LOL. Check her out at http://krislhurst.blogspot.com you won't be sorry you did. She was so inspiring to me.

Then I want to show you that I HAVE made progress on the beach themed wreath I was working on. Just a little bit more to add to it and then I will put it up in the shop or maybe Etsy. Haven't decided yet. Hopefully when it's done I will be able to get a photo of the sparkle!

My wish for you: A sparkly shiny day!

The Petticoat and Parasol art event sounds like it was so much fun! Would love to do something like this sometime! I went to a quilt show last month with a quilter friend and it was so inspirational and I don't even quilt!!!

I think the sparkly shiny day may come in the form of snow for us tonight!! Spring just doesn't know she can arrive in Colorado now!
