I Do NOT know how these Mondays

roll around so fast ! My show is first...my sweet faux cakes are almost all gone. I think there is one small baby cake left. So I needed to make some more roses and nests for the tops. Making the roses takes time but it's also relaxing for me. The real fun is putting the goodies together!

I spent most of the week stomping out little fires...nothing big just puffs of smoke here and there that if you don't attend to quickly will soon burst into flame. I looked like a pretty fair tap dancer for a couple of days if I do say so myself :).

This morning, as usual, I got up and went downstairs to make coffee. I love my morning cup and if I don't have one the day just seems a bit off. Down I go ... I rinse out the pot and filter basket, pop in the filter, plug the trusty coffee maker in...add nice COLD water. Ummmm ummm I can smell it brewing and just taste it now. Meanwhile I pop in some cinnamon raisin toast, get out the butter. Coffee should be done I hear it steaming ... yup, I know you guessed it... I had a pot full of nice HOT water. Sigh. Some days just start out that way. Have you ever forgotten to put your coffee in the pot?
My wish for you: May your coffee pot always be full of goooood coffee...(or may you always have gooood tea, I want what you want for you my friends!).

Could be worse...I set the pots up before I go to bed. Once, I once forgot to change the filter and old grounds...could not figure why the coffee was soooo icky!

Hi Francie....yup, I've done that a few times myself! I've found the best convenience store coffee on my route to school....it's called Bengal Trader's and I get the French Vanilla blend and then add French Vanilla Creamer until I have about half and half coffee and creamer....Mmmmmmmmmmmm! I never thought convenience store coffee could actually be GOOD! LOL Love your little roses and nests....you make the prettiest things! Oh, and I had to hang around and listen to your music for awhile too. :)

Hugs,
Debbie

You tap dancing fool, you! I've done that with the coffee too, I guess we all have at one time or another. The worst was when I forgot to put the pot in, coffee all over the counter and floor, yuck!

Love those cakes. And the roses, too. About that coffe, remember what Scarlet said, "Tomorrow is another day."

All the best my Palmyra friend.

Hi Francie!
I've had Mondays like that too! Well, also some Tuesdays, Wednesdays,....! I'm glad you are back from the MMP retreat. It sounded like you had so much fun up there! Aren't you loving this fall weather for the past few days? Just clear blue skies and nice breezes.

Lots of hugs, Bebe :)
