Virginia is for ....SHOPPERS !

Just home from a visit to Virginia. Need a week to recuperate from all the shoppin, eatin' and visiting.  Met up with my friends, Carolyn and Lynn and we hit Luckett's Spring Market and a lot of other fun places.  This is one of them, On A Whim.
Love the polka dot silo behind the polka dot cow.
Entrance to main On A Whim shop

Left side, you can see a few vender's tents.

Claw foot tub fountain, might have to do this myself.

Inside this small building was a HUGE collection of vintage prom dresses, hats etc.
Lynn will be sharing some photos from our adventure too.
Will be linking with Pink Saturday (http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/2013/04/pink-saturday-april-20-2013.html )  this Friday.  Hop on over anytime Saturday or later and visit more sweet pink and celebrate a Pink Saturday Birthday !!!.

Thank you for visiting, I appreciate your visits and comments.  Ya'll bee sweet and come on back any time !
Smack me because I didn't get any photos of this drool worthy room. This photo is courtesy of Lynn  The Vintage Nest

Hi Francie. Love the polka dot cow. I am glad you had a wonderful time. Have a great week.
I bet you did come back all inspired! When I've been somewhere like that, my mind starts spinning around a hunnerd miles an hour. It spins and spins until it coasts to a stop and I might get one project out of all those ideas. But I know you'll do so much better than me. I just saw your lamp shades. How cool are they? Love 'em!

Hi Francie, I love the shop you featured so much. Your photos are so much fun. This would be an adorable Pink Saturday post. I would dearly love to go there. The prom dresses are such a surprise. Beautiful.

Now rest up and I wish you sunny days.

Hey Francie! Hope you are all rested up now. Your photos are fabulous!...especially for Pink Saturday's birthday. On A Whim is such a special place! Do you know I only took 2 photos at Luckett's and that was of Deb on the porch and that long line. I can't believe I did not get someone to snap a picture of us and Carolyn. Would you believe I just spotted this. If you look closely at my photo of the long line, you can see my sister and Carolyn and a little bit of you and even Bob sitting in the lawn chair by the cars. LOL....too funny! I didn't know I caught that. Miss you and I too am looking forward to our next adventure. Heard from Sonia? xoxo P.S. Have remade the little metal chair and ordered the ribbon crimps

What a great place to go. I would have loved it. You found plenty pinks to share.
What a fun trip! I love to find places like this. You find the most unusual things! I love that pink bike! It just needs a couple of baskets and loads of flowers!
HPS!

Happy Pink Saturday. I am so glad you are here. Thank you for making this a special day.

I just about fell out when I saw those pink bicycles. I have been looking for an old bicycle for several years.
