PS and serving up Autumn?

We are welcoming Fall at Pink Saturday..
Sweetest little "Sweet Shoppe" print a little surprise find
For some reason I am finding the prettiest blues ! and am having a love affair
with faux candy :)
This is what I've been working on when I watch TV..have one to make in blue as well. This is very easy to make, a roll of tulle, a flat wooden wreath. cut the tulle in strips long enough to go around the wreath and tie in a double knot.  Trim to desired length. Embellish with what ever you love !
Honestly have to tell you, Fall and Winter are not all that welcome to me.  I don't like the chill or cold at all.  But ya'll are welcome any time!

Yesterday was my birthday. Was so surprised and delighted with all the Happy Birthday wishes !
As I sit here eating a delicious chocolate cupcake (thank you Sweetie) I'm thinking about my life so far.  It's been incredible and I am so thankful.  There have been big wins and bigger losses, great happiness and huge sorrows. Through it all I've had favor and grace.
Have lived in many of the United States, a few foreign countries and visited many others. Was raised to have character, morals, and compassion. Wasn't raised in a Christian home but how blessed I was to find that there is a God, Jesus lives and if we invite Him in He will provide for us.
My children grew into responsible, caring adults who actually give to society and make a difference. My husband of over thirty years, a man of  intelligence, integrity, compassion and the love of my life. He has made me a better person.
The past year I have spent time with women who are very shallow. It's all about them, how much they have and what it cost. What kind of handbag they carry. Not much character there just show. Thank God, thank you that I am not one of them.  I have a long way to go but I have come so far.
Have spent time with women of integrity, faith and compassion. They truly care about others. They reach out and share good times and bad, women you can count on, women of substance, women who make a difference. Thank you God for these women and help me become more like them.  What a blessed year I have had !

A beautiful and very thoughtful post Francie and I want to wish you a very very Happy Birthday. Love and hugs, Lynn
Happy yesterday birthday! Your thoughts are so true for all of us. And I believe you are one of the caring women, certainly not a shallow one. If you were, you wouldn't recognize them for what they are.

Sounds like you had a happy birthday if you are eating a chocolate cupcake from your sweetie!

It is fun looking at all your pretty things. Your blues are really nice!

Your pink wreath is so pretty.
Isn't it great to have a crafty project to work on when you are watching TV? It's a good way to use your time twice and takes away some of that "I'm just sitting here watching TV" guilt. Ha! : D

Hi Francie, I love your pink tulle wreath! The little ballerina is so adorable. Happy Pink Saturday. ~Marti
Oh darn Francie, I missed your birthday. I hope it was a happy day. I'm sorry this is a belated birthday wish.

The pink tulle is pretty made into a wreath. Pinkalicious.

The 'Sweet Shoppe' silhouette picture is a great find. I have always admired silhouette prints.

No more games this year. Yay! it is good to be home.

Happy Pink Saturday.
xo, Jeanne
Dear Francie, Happy Birthday to you. You have a very reflective post. I like to take stock every now and then myself. I do hope more women of integrity fill your life with so many great and fun times, you won't have time for the others! I

I've been liking blue and pink lately myself!

Have a great week.

First of all Belated Happy Birthday. It's never too late for good wishes. I like your post and that wreath with the little ballerina is so pretty. Blue was my mothers favorite color, thought of her as soon as I saw your blue. Love your thoughts on your life
and yes, Jesus lives. Hugs...Lu
