Sweet Treats

It always surprises me, tho you would think after allll these years it wouldn't, how all of a sudden it's the holiday season.
I am ALWAYS caught short and un-prepared and always scramblin'.
So much to do and I am out of time :) :0 :)
but I am making time to post and then to visit you !

For a sweet treat (sorry, the real thing doesn't last long enough around here to get a photo) a gingerbread couple I had "planned" to alter but, ummmm it didn't happen, and some faux candy.

Some eye candy for you ( I hope) wreaths and a topiary I made to take to my  booth.

Gee. sparkly silver is hard to photograph but you know I STILL haven't read the booklet on how to use my new camera.
That's probably not surprising to anyone :)

For lots of pink and sweet treats, visit
Beverly at How Sweet The Sound on Saturday where
there will be links to some very sweet bloggers.

Thank you for your visit and your sweet comments.  I appreciate it very much.
Until next time, ya'll bee sweet and come back soon.

My dearest Francie,
How are you?? Oh me,oh my where does the time go? I know exactly what you mean about Christmas creeping up on you. I am never ready. I just posted something about not being ready too! lol I love the cute gingerbread couple. Adorable! I want to make a large gingerbread pillow for kids. I thought of it last year, but never made one. So I will try this year.
I also love the wreaths. So pretty. You are truly talented. I hope you are doing great Francie. Always wishing you good things and lots of happiness. I have been super busy helping my parents move and am in the process of looking for another place to live. I am tired of renting and hope to buy a home. We'll see. I will stop by to visit again soon. I took too long to visit you. You know I never forget you. :)
Have a wonderful weekend,
Hugs to your kitties too.xoxo

Hey Hey Francie! It's beyond me how everyone (at least it seems that way) has their homes all decorated for Christmas by Dec.1st. I use nearly all fresh greens so it's not gonna happen here. Okay...I have been working on photos for my next blog post with fresh greens but all those greens will be changed out soon. I didn't even put up a tree this year but it's still very festive around here. Still haven't heard anything about the Spring show...ugh! HPS xoxoox Me
Good morning Francie, Your post made me smile. I made an adorable wreath and donated it to Hospice for a fund raiser this year. My garden club was asked to participate so I volunteered. It was sparkly and the photos did not do it justice at all. I can see that your wreath is darling. The close ups show it a bit better. Then I laughed because I have not read the instructions on my camera either. I have had it for a couple of years. Maybe we should make a New Years resolution to read OUR INSTRUCTIONS. HA!

We are leaving less than a week from now to take a Christmas Markets River Cruise down the Rhine River. We will be in Amsterdam this time next week. YAY!! I will be on a blog break until after Christmas.

Happy Pink Saturday,
Hugs, Jeanne

Oh, I do like that silver wreath!

I have a camera that has buttons I dare not push. One day the manufacturers will make a simplified, small book of instructions for people like us!

Happy Pink Saturday, Francie.
I know what you mean, holidays just come around so fast and I find myself not being ready and wrapping gifts on the 24th, wow! Nice pictures. Happy PS...Lu

Love the silver stuff. Beautiful!

Boy, do I understand the holidays slipping up. Really. Christmas should come in February. I might be prepared for it and in the mood for it by then. I've done almost nothing. And I want to so bad, but probably won't do much this year.
