Altered Box top ....inspiring?

There is a special group  I've belonged to for some time.  Etsy Cottage Style
and it has a whole bunch of creative, talented ladies.  There was an altered box challenge and this was mine:
Can you tell I got my inspiration from my logo and the sweet plate I found? : )
All of the boxes were beautiful and reflect the diversity of styles.   Check the site out by clicking on the link above and please join us.

Another heart box created for Valentines Day.
And, if there is an empty box around Willie and Wynona will snuggle up in it ! As a point of reference the box is 20"L x 20"W x 4"H
Linking up with Beverly Pink Saturday  ... visit and check out all the very sweet pinks.
Now, I sorta don't like putting this in this post, it should have it's own, but then again I don't want to make it seem like I'm being too proud so I AM putting it here....I received a comment from a writer, a for real honest to goodness does it for a living woman who said she was nominating me as an "inspiring" blogger.  Of course I went to visit her.  Oh my. To say I am honored seems so trite. But I AM so amazed honored. It has to be a mistake but until she retracts it I'm going to claim it.  This is not just a fluff and stuff woman (and I think I mostly am). She is witty, she is wise and very interesting AND she is a Brit, you know I've had a love affair with all things English most of my life.  You might want to visit Guernsey Girlie and see what I mean.
Next you might want to visit sweet Heidi at  Sugah Beez to see her inspired creation for a friend. It is an award worthy idea, wink wink.
Thank you for reading, thank you for visiting and thank you for  your comments and follows.  I always try to comment and follow back.  Until next time, ya'll bee sweet and come visit again soon.

Hi Francie, I'm sorry I haven't been over to visit. My cousin Bob is here from MI and we have been so busy entertaining him. He is 57 and has never used a computer. Sigh. It is hard to get on the computer with him around.

Your altered box is beautiful and inspiring. I love the romantic look of it all. Your friend's heart box is pretty too. Great ideas.

Congratulations for your Inspired Blogger nomination. I agree with her. I love your fun and clever posts.

Happy Pink Saturday, Jeanne xo

I do remember the plate, scrolled down and saw it - you have an up close photo of it in another post - nice plate.
Great altered box. I was just over on Pink Link #3 where she did an altered heart box. I think I might have to try my hand at altering boxes! (I'm posting from my altered book today - I just got started on doing that kind of thing.)
Congratulations on your blessing from the professional blogger. Neat!
I love the kitties in the box - that's so sweet. It's sweet because they're together and yet not!
Enjoyed your post! Happy Pink Saturday! Jenn

Thanks for stopping by and telling me about taking my altered book apart. I had been thinking about taking it apart "somehow" but had not reached your conclusions yet - thanks a bunch! Jenn

what a pretty Valentine box. I alter all sorts of boxes. I just think it is a fun thing to do and is a great way to recycle.
The boxes are adorable and the cats...OHHHH, love them and the award congratulations! That is so wonderful. We love blogging, but an acknowledgement like that is sure the frosting on the cake!

Hi Francie! I am always trying to stop by because you are an awesome and special lady to me! Congrats on your award! If you see anyone hosting a teacup swap please let me know! I seem to missing so many fun swaps!
The boxes are so lovely. I especially like what you did with the plate in the background.
Those kitty kats are having too much nap time! LOL! They are good at it aren't they?

I am always grateful to have met you and enjoy your creative heart!

OMG Francie, your kittys in the box just made my day. Smile as big as your heart right now! (I have not heard about the Spring Market so guess it's not happening. Maybe I should have my own out here at the farmette)
Thank you for stopping by. Love the kitties in the box, I too have kitties and one in particular is always looking for empty boxes or bags to get into. The pink heart is so beautiful. I love hearts, of course your box is also. Hugs...Lu (feeling better today, thanks)

Such a pretty Valentines! Congrats on your award - you are truly a talented and inspiring blogger! Your sweet kitties in the box are completely adorable. Thank you so much for the mention - that is so very kind. Hope you had a great weekend! xxoo Heidi
Oh, honey. Brag all you want! It's always great to see sister bloggers honored. And you're most deserving!

Love your Valentine's box. I'll have to check the group out. Because, goodness knows I have so much time on my hands. Bahahahaha :-)

You are so sweet to keep checking my blog. For that *I'm* honored. I can't seem to get back in the groove of blog hopping. Or posting, for that matter. I sit down at night, scroll through Pinterest a couple of times and fall asleep. It seems like there are a million things happening right now keeping me from a calm, uncluttered life. Good stuff, but busy, busy. I did update both blogs today, though. Check one thing off my list. LOL
Well yes it's true great minds do think alike (wink). Love all the goodies that you added! And the one that your friend made is beautiful too.

Enjoy your week!

Oh Francie I have several heart boxes that I have been wanting to do something sweet with like you did! I do wish I had time for all the things I want to do! Did make a little valentine sewing kit and posted about it. Never knew that it would take so much time figuring things out on the Silhouette machine! Think I will enjoy having it if I can get it all figured out (then remembering it the next time I do a project!)

bee blessed and have a wonderful valentines day!
