BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

Look how beautiful one of our towns water fountains looks...like an iced wedding cake! But ... wait! We are in the deep South...very close to Florida and it's not supposed to get this cold...brrrrrrrr....brrrrrrrr...brrrrrr. It was a reported 17* one morning. I have stayed in my warm jammies and had cocoa or hot tea at the ready. I have been a mole, a sloth a Pawxatawny Phillis for the past ten days. But now the sun is shining and it's warming up ... we will be in the 70's again, and I will be back at the Cottage cleaning, moving, creating and just having fun.

There are changes in store for both the physical Cottage and the web shop too...I have new things arriving, new things on the drawing board. I will be removing a lot of the non-scented items from TheScentedCottage.com and opening another webshop that will hold some of the treasures from TSC and some new ones as well. But, ummmm...let's not hold our breath now...you know it will take me a few months to get it even sort of together...but I did want to share with you what I have going on. How about you? Want to share your plans? I always love to hear what you are doing.
My wish for you: May good changes be happening in your life and you see your plans through to a very happy conclusion.

Oh my word! You weren't kidding! That is cooooooold! Much colder than when I was moaning to you about our little bit of chilly weather. And I thought you lot had barbeques year round! ;)

Hi Francie!

Thanks for coming to visit me today! :) You are so sweet!!

It has been too cold down here these last few nights. I've been like you~hibernating with my fuzzy slippers and blankets. I've gotten entirely too thin-skinned and spoiled about warm weather!!! :)

I'm like you in that I can't take it if the weather drops below 70 degrees. Can you imagine living somewhere like Wisconsin or Montana where this kind of weather is their high for the day? Brrrrr...is right! Spring is not that far away...hopefully...maybe...soon..!

Shivering over here on the coast too,

Bebe :)
Love the photo! Wow....we actually got a slight dusting of snow last night...I want MORE!! LOL
I can't wait to see what you have in store!
Hugs,
Robin
Can you believe these changes in temps lately? Last week, really freezing & we just got back in today from a nice walk & it had to be 70*. And really warm this whole week. The trees & plants are gonna be confused again.

Hope you have a great 2008, Francie! You probably know I've quit my office job & want to start something creative, so that is what is in store for me this year.

xo,
Rhoda
Oh Francie...
Brrrr is right!
Looks so pretty though...
Keep warm!

Holy cow! That's gorgeous. My parents just returned from Miami yesterday and they said it was colder in FL than it was when they got back home to IL! It's been in the 50's here. I'm going to take a little hop over to your website. It's nice to meet you Miss Scented Cottage. Blessings... Polly

Love the fountain!
One nice thing about it though...you won't be cold as long as we are up here! The WI stays stays in the 20's waaay to long for my taste. 4to5 months!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Gotta check out your store.
XO

That is just the most beautiful thing - I wouldn;t complain about the cold so much if it brought me lovely views like that.

What a magical looking sight!

Francie, the fountain is beautiful!!!! Yes, the cold takes my breath away, but so does the loveliness of that fountain.

Hi Francie,
This looks more like something from my neck of the woods. I'm also making lots of changes this year. We can cheer each other on, and nag each other to keep getting things organized and done. No more procrastinating!

xoxo!
