Cloche Time ! Come on get

clocher (:)) just click on the photos to enlarge). I'm sharing two garden cloche, one has a birds nest I created with two tiny eggs inside, each with a teeny tiny heart crystal and a china bird on top of the cloche. Another has a concrete cherub surrounded by pink hydrangea with hydrangea flowers on top. These sit on a sofa table in my entry. The garden cloches are actually candle holders turned upside down, set on a clay saucer that is then set on a clay pot turned upside down. Then my favorite by far is one I have on my kitchen counter. When I went to Savannah for the Petticoats and Parasols Art Event several of us exchanged paper dolls and inside this cloche is one made by the talented, clever (and very sweet) Shelley from Honey Lamb and I. She used cupcake liners for the skirt and made a tray of cupcakes...so I surrounded her with some faux cupcakes. I LOVE this paper doll and wanted to display her in my kitchen, but I needed a very tall cloche. I used a glass display cover like you would use to cover an anniversary clock. You can find them at Hobby Lobby.

Please stop by Marty's A Stroll Thru Life to find links to the other cloche party givers.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will become a follower and/or leave a comment to be entered into our July give away ... see post below. Until next time, my wish for you : may you be surrounded by people and things you love. (())

Francie, HOW PRETTY! I love each one, as different as they are from each other.
You've got a real talent for staging. This is my 1st visit to your blog but it won't be my last.

I really like the cloche with the bird on top! So cute... I've used the pot and saucer before as a base. Yours looks really good because it is "weathered." Thanks for the visit this morning.

Hi Francie,
What great ideas for cloches. They all turned out lovely. My favorite, though, has to be the one with the little birdie on top. I just love little birdies :-) Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. Have a wonderful weekend.

Smiles,

Oh how pretty and your displays are stunning and so creative. Great inspiration and eye candy. I am so thrilled you joined the cloche party. This is just lovely. Thanks. Hugs, Marty
Love your garden cloches, Francie.
The paper doll is so clever and perfect under a cloche. I have that little Jardin box and have never done anything with it. It looks so cute, I am inspired.

Oh Francie, I love what you have done with your cloches. Until Marty came into my life, I really never gave a thought to a cloche. Now they are so much fun and I am constantly on the look out for new ones. Pretty soon they will be all over my home. Bring it on!! You are right about finding them at Hobby Lobby, you have an amazing way of displaying and it shows. I was thinking of showing your beautiful teacup candle in one of mine, but decided to save it for another day. Thanks so much for your lovely blog, Char
Francie,

I have loved looking at everyone in this cloche party! What a great idea.

Thanks for stopping, the one thing I have not yet done is faux cakes, I might pick your brain when I get around to doing it

Thanks Carol
