A Fine Way to Start the Weekend....

We got a late start Friday morning, so many things to do before we could leave. We stopped for gas about a half hour away. The tanker that had just finished refueling backed into the truck. My SweetiePie thought fast and stepped on the gas so it was the side of the truck bed that took the impact. The only injuries are to my truck, and my feelings, sigh. I love my truck. The truck and I have traveled a "fur piece" together and have had some great adventures. We went to Las Vegas together...traveled "home" (Louisiana) many many times. Thank-you truck for being so good and trustworthy and thank-you for taking the impact. Most of all, thank-you Lord for your traveling mercies!
So, after that sad sad sight I thought I would show you two prints that I found at the flea market. The glass is curved....I think that puts them as being made in the forties? Much prettier than my (poor) truck :)
We had a fine time "up Nawth" and I did a bit of shopping and a lot of eating. Now I have to get busy, busy, busy at the shop. I will post again for the tea party and I do hope to see you there! I hope you will have a tea party too so I can visit yours
I would love to hear how your week-end was...did you have fun? Did family come? Did you eat too much?
My wish for you: If you have an accident may it only be metal that is hurt. (( ))
